Hold the guitar comfortably. Lightly mute the strings; downstroke on each slow beat for four groups of four. Pause and repeat. Stop for pain.
Use two chords you already know, such as Em and Am. Play each string slowly and listen for muted notes. Adjust one finger at a time rather than squeezing harder. Spend two minutes on each chord, then write down the adjustment that helped most. If these chords are new, first work through the linked beginner session below.
Play four slow beats on the first chord, pause to change, and play four on the second. Repeat five times. Shorten the pause only when both chords sound clear. Record the number of changes you completed comfortably; do not turn speed into the only success measure.
Repeat the muted-string sample, then use the same downstroke pattern on each chord. Use eight beats per chord if four feels rushed. Pause between rounds to reset your hand position. Record which change interrupted the pulse and try that transition slowly once more.
Play a short two-chord sequence twice. If useful, make a private recording using your own recording app. Listen for clear chord sounds and a steady pulse. Choose one specific adjustment for the next practice, such as changing one finger earlier. These sessions do not record or analyse audio automatically.
