- Get attention: Disculpe. — Excuse me.
- Find the station: ¿Dónde está la estación? — Where is the station?

Use these original mini-dialogues in pairs. Partner B reads only their replies; partner A tries from the situation first. The amounts and places are fictional.
✅ Café: order and check the price
A: Quisiera agua, por favor. ¿Cuánto cuesta?
B: Cuesta dos euros. (It costs two euros.)
📝 Station: repair an unclear reply
A: ¿Dónde está la estación?
B: Está a la derecha. (It is on the right.)
A: ¿Puede repetir más despacio, por favor?
B: Sí. Está a la derecha. (Yes. It is on the right.)
📝 Hotel: confirm the stay
A: Tengo una reserva a nombre de Alex.
B: ¿Para cuántas noches? (For how many nights?)

Second attempt: Order coffee instead of water (un café), ask for three nights (tres noches), and change right to left (a la izquierda). Swap roles. Success means giving the relevant response and repairing one unclear reply; this activity does not automatically assess pronunciation.
